Shari + John

Here are a few of my favorite images from my recent engagement shoot with Shari + John in Forest Park. These two will be back on the blog before too long with their August wedding that promises to be a beautiful downtown affair.

Caitlin + Dave

Here are a few of my favorite images from my engagement shoot with Caitlin and Dave. We started off in Tower Grove before finishing up the shoot on South Grand, where they first met. I always enjoy hearing how each of the couples I work with met, and Caitlin and Dave have the honor of being closest to something resembling love at first sight. They were both out with friends one evening when they spotted each other from across the street. Dave said hello as Caitlin and her friends walked past. Eventually they started talking and ended up chatting hours into the night.

Heather + Adam

Here's a few of my favorites from my recent engagement shoot with Heather and Adam. We opted to go to two locations with a lot of personal meaning for them — the Grand Basin, where Adam proposed, and the Hill, where they've lived the last few years. I can't wait for their winery wedding in a few weeks!

Kelsey + Andrew

A little rain wasn't enough to discourage Kelsey and Andrew during their recent engagement session. We started at St. Charles' Main Street, passed the restaurant where they had their first date and ended up at the riverfront bench where Andrew proposed. The next set of photos from these two will be upriver at Caroline Vineyard for their fall garden wedding. Looking forward to it!

Jessica + Mike

I've wanted to shoot a session in Chicago for a while now, so I was happy to hear that Jessica and Mike wanted to have their session there. They've lived there for a few years and will be returning to St. Louis this fall for their wedding and City Museum (!) reception. We had a lot of fun exploring the city and the beach. Also, their energetic husky pup made an appearance, which was a lot of fun.

Kara + Eddie

Have I mentioned how much I'm enjoying the spring? This was another session where great light and great locations lined up for a great shoot. Oh, and of course Kara and Eddie did their jobs, too. I might just have to send this session to future clients wanting advice on how to dress for a session. A few of my favorites:

Carolyn + Alex

I met up with Carolyn and Alex last week for a session in the Missouri Botanical Garden. Our timing was great, as just about everything was in bloom and the weather was perfect! A few of my favorites from the session:

Stephanie + Paul

Here are a few of my favorite images from my recent engagement session with Stephanie and Paul. We started the session at Lafayette Square before heading over to Union Station for a bit. We had some great light, and they kept each other beaming throughout the session. Enjoy!

Amy + Sochon

Spring is slowly making its way to St. Louis and with it comes the rush of pent-up demand for engagement sessions. This is the first of two sessions I shot recently and will be sharing on the blog today.

I caught up Amy and Sochon last week on the Washington University campus for their engagement session. They're planning to marry this fall in South Korea and wanted some engagement shots on the beautiful WashU campus before their May graduation. We met up at the iconic Brookings Hall and went from there.
