Where do I start with these two? From their engagement session to their wedding day, they've been a blast to work with. I'm always a fan of unique touches and do-it-yourself details -- both of which Kaylen and Pete incorporated into their wedding day.

These photos will give you an idea of how beautiful Kaylen's dress and family home are.

This candid and many others throughout the day were shot by my second photographer, Taylor Glascock. Taylor is also a product of Mizzou's photojournalism program.

I'm a dog person, so there's no way I was going to pass on photographing Louie all decked out.

Kaylen's mom's reaction to seeing Kaylen ready to go.

Originally Kaylen and Pete weren't planning to see each other before the ceremony. But because of the church's layout, it was going to be difficult to keep them apart and away from the guests. So they decided to do a quick first look outside of Saint Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church. I'm biased, but I think it turned out well.

This expression is priceless.

Pete rocked a bow tie while his groomsmen wore long ties.

Time for the ceremony! Kaylen's dad gave her a kiss on the cheek shortly before they walked down the aisle.

A celebration dance at the back of the church. This photo has some technical issues, but it is too fun not to post.

The flower girls outside the church.

Pete and his groomsmen in Tower Grove Park.

Without prompting from me or seeing what the other had done, these two attendants both posed this way for their fun photo with the bride and groom.

After finishing up in Tower Grove Park, we headed to Ted Drewes, which was a welcome break from the heat. The wedding party did a spontaneous ice cream toast.

We did a few group photos downtown before heading to the reception. This is one of my favorite wedding party photos of the year!

The reception was at Windows on Washington. Check out this seating chart Kaylen and Pete made!

You guys are awesome. Thanks for bringing me out.

& how perfect are those hilarious unprompted photos?! Priceless.
Mr. Gladstone-
Hello! Your photographs of Kaylen and Pete (both the wedding and engagement photos) were a pleasure to look through. Your compositions are very sophisticated, yet you maintain an air of informality and warmth. I really like your work. It's definitely not "standard" wedding photography . :)

Ryan, Terry and I were so excited to see the pictures. They are just beautiful. You did a great job of being "in the background" while taking such magnificent shots. You really captured the beauty, love and playfulness of the day. Thanks so much for photographing our Kaylen's wedding.
