Mary + Matt

Winter weddings tend to have a different vibe than the high season soiree. They tend to be intimate, relaxed gatherings of close friends and family. Mary and Matt celebrated their nuptials at The Journey in Clayton, followed by a reception at Cardwell's. Mary and Matt have warm, open personalities, and their wedding day had their inviting personalities stamped on it.

I started the day with Mary and her bridesmaids, shooting them as they prepared to head out for a few shots in the Sheraton hotel lobby.

After a few portraits, it was time for the first look.

After finishing up at the Sheraton, it was time to head around the corner to the church. Fun fact: Mary and Matt met at this church! Mary was running late one day and ended up sitting in the back next to Matt. After the service, they went to lunch with mutual friends and (obviously) hit it off. Mary and Matt shared their story in a photo slideshow before the ceremony.
