I kicked off my main 2011 season with Kara and Rob on March 26 — a day that I will not soon forget. In the week leading up to their big day, we all anxiously watched as rain looked increasingly likely. If you've followed the blog for a while, you'll recognize these two from their ballpark engagement shoot last year. They are both very laid back and personable, and it was great to have the honor of documenting the moments big and small throughout the day. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.


I started the day with Rob as he and his groomsmen played a few hands of poker.


After a bit, I checked in with Kara and her bridesmaids as they got ready upstairs at the church.






Kara has a quiet moment to herself shortly before the ceremony.

Kara is a teacher, and it came through as the flower girls stopped by for a quick lesson.

Time for the ceremony. Rob sees Kara for the first time on their wedding day.

It was really cold, but the entire wedding party were good sports and went with it!
