On a beautiful summer day, Heather and Adam exchanged vows at one of the newest wedding venues in the greater St. Louis area – the Wooden Nickel Winery in Litchfield, Ill. The outdoor ceremony and reception were nearly derailed by a looming storm, but good luck prevailed and Heather, Adam and their guests were able to hold their ceremony on the winery/saloon’s patio and celebrate under the stars.

I started the day with Heather and her bridesmaids as they got ready at the winery's guest house.
After a bit it was time for a first look with Adam.

It was just about time for the ceremony at this point.
